Always appreciate you reviewing smaller titles. Like many, I've got less and less time to game as I get older and also suffer from a little bit of AAA fatigue so interesting indie games are always a great choice. Also, your writing really is top notch.
as 43 y old father who mostly plays Counter-Strike (7k h currently), I love this! Thank you!
This looks cool as hell! Thanks for putting it on my radar! Great review.
This will be one of those indie games that has overwhelmingly positive on steam but less than 20,000 user ratings
I feel like this would be a fun title on the switch, but not for that price. may be I'll snag it on a steam sale in the fall
It's always a great day - When I get a notification that ACG has dropped more stellar content!
Awesome to see you covered this one!
So creative. Will definitely check it out. Thanks for the review!
It’s a very old-and-new game. Almost as if it’s been in development hell since 2011, the 2000’s retro isometric look, the indie games controls and ideas but at the same time couldn’t be released then because of some limitations.
I absolutely love creativity like this. I remember having a dream like this when i was kid too. Moving about in the shadows, really feeling like Solid Snake.
It looks like the perfect game for the switch
This was not on my radar. Looks good for both me and my kids to run through on steam family sharing
Day 1 Buy! Thanks, ACG for reviewing something that may have flown under our radar.
Schim looks like an Interesting game for sure. I'm glad that you brought it to my attention. Awesome review as always! Thanks, Karak! God bless and stay safe!
Went into the backlog.
under 500 views. don't think I've ever been this early
For the Dutch guy that I am the demo felt to Dutch for me 😅 The level design and sounds are so cozy Dutch that the dev really nailed that feeling. It is just not for me. But now I wonder. Do other people experience that when a game is based on your direct surroundings?
I assume this is from a Belgian or Dutch studio, since "Schim" is essentially Dutch for "Shadow". (Pronunciation is a bit different than what you're doing, the "ch" is more like the raspy "j" in Spanish instead of a hard "k" sound.) Thanks for another thorough review!
Very cool. I liked the art style and now definitely gonna get it
