The other shooter was not on the water tower. That individual was in the AG building in the second story. If you go back and look at the footage by the media you will note that the 2nd story window of that building facing the president's stage was open the entire time. Trained snipers in urban areas will often set up within a room with a window or patio door to the outside. They will setup their weapon about 10-15 feet inside on a small table, ideally with a tripod. That way they are concealed, but also have the steadying influence of a table. Being within a concealed room also muffles and contains a good deal of weapons fire sound which is why the first three shots sounded so radically different from the last 5. If you go back and listen to the first 8 rounds fired that day, the first three were muffled, had little to no echo and were very controlled with precision. The last 5 shots were rapid, almost frantic, and much louder with more pronounced echo which was Crooks firing. The first three were from the sniper in that 2nd story room of the Ag Building. Crooks was on the first story roof of the lower AG building and the sniper was in the second story room of the AG building behind him, which had 3 sets of windows that faced towards the event stage 150 yards away. It should also be noted that the AG buildings are about 15-20 ft. lower than the barn and event stage on the neighboring property. That would mean that the second story window (which I believe the sniper was in) would have almost a ground level line of sight with the president's stage (an almost perfect scenario). The sniper could actually see Crooks if he leaned out the window slightly and looked to the north along the lower building roofline of the lower AG building. In fact, I saw footage on youtube (it's been taken down since November), that showed someone (either DHS, or Secret Service that had a phone camera) leaning out that second story window and panning to the north of the lower roof and filming Crooks as he climbed to the peak of that roof with his weapons. So SOMEONE KNEW AND SAW Crooks crawling to the peak of that roof from within the AG building but did nothing. THAT WAS THE REAL SNIPER. That's also how they got all the shell casings to the scene after Crook's was taken out by the counter snipers. Whoever shot those first three shots threw the casings out the window and onto the ground. Initially the FBI only found 5 casings on the roof which had a pretty low pitch to it, but later found 3 more between the upper and lower AG buildings. They claimed those 3 casings slid off the roof from Crook's position and landed in the grass below, which is why they didn't find them initially; however they knew they had to find the same number of shell casings as the number of shots fired to make the story plausible to the public. However, it should also be noted that Crooks did not fire from the south end of the roof where they found those three casings, he fired from the north end of the roof. Crook's was filmed by event goers at the north end of the roof, but after he was taken out by the counter snipers they dragged his body to the sound end of the roof which had a better line of sight with the stage the President was on. That was also where they found those missing 3 casings. They supposedly later found them on the ground below the roof and their explanation was that they slid off the tin roof after Crook's was done firing, but I think the sniper in that 2nd story room threw them out the window after he was finished firing. Another thing to keep in mind. Trump was moving constantly on that stage. Turning, shifting, pointing. Even though many experts claim that was a chip shot at 140 yards (which it is for a stationary target), Trump was gesturing to the crowd and the chart, but constantly turning and moving. It was a bit of luck but that movement by the President is what saved is life. The sniper in that room in the AG building had a limited amount of time and a very limited field of view being setback 10-15 feet inside that room. Once the chaos started and everybody swarmed Trump, the sniper's lost his line of sight very quickly, but also had to retreat before authorities could track down his position. That's where the Patsy Crooks came in. He was always the Patsy. Crooks started frantically firing, once he heard the sniper in the AG building firing (the two were in on it together). Crook's was not a trained professional, not even a novice marksman. He also had extremely poor eyesight and the weapon he used was not his own but his father's. It's very likely he missed so badly with his five shots, because of bad technique, but bad positioning at the north end of the roof of the lower AG building. His line of sight to the stage was partially obstructed by a large tree which is why the secret service counter snipers didn't see him initially and why everyone thought the shots came from the water tower, which they couldn't have if you carefully examine the audio forensics that used to be online but has since disappeared from Youtube (hmmmm). The sights on Crook's weapon were not adjusted to his eyesight, but his father's which is a big problem for any marksman. Either way it was not a lone gunman.

There definitely could have been one but they didn't shoot. Videos the people have that were near the barn u can clearly hear 3 ar15 shots & then about 5-6 shots that sound like they're from a police issued 9mm (very quick bursts)
