@pocpic

There's a reason Linus had some choice words and gestures for Nvidia.

@awesomedude5558

Nvidia sure seems to hate gamers despite being a company that's allegedly for gamers. Glad Steam OS might go more public though for those who may need it

@Surr3alD3sign

The SECOND steamos drops i am never touching another microsoft product so long as i live...

@9vlc

Valve I believe in you!

@BagusGede-f1o

I hope SteamOS will be released when Windows 10 get ditched by MS

Edit: for anyone that doesn't know MS stand for Microsoft I refer to the date of windows 10 end of life and I hope steamOS will be around by then

@TheCompleteMental

Im getting real sick of Nvidia's attitude

@getromire

insert linus torvalds nvidia quote

@Devconomy

Bringus will have a real fun time with the full release!

@goldenstarmusic1689

As someone who has used AMD hardware with Linux gaming way back in 2013 just fine, I feel embarrassed that this is still an issue over a decade on. Ftr I literally have no stake in caring about hardware beef, I just want Linux/SteamOS to have better support overall and it is crazy that we've been dealing with this long enough I've gone from middle school to college.

@mirrikybird

Reliable gaming is the one and only thing holding me back from using Linux full time. I cannot wait for steamos to release as an installable operating system. Valve has their issues (largely related to gambling traps) but their work to push technology forward is incredible

@stevetischler5910

John Bringus out here putting STEAMOS on anything and everything

@eliguy2344

Valve might not be perfect, but its so.nice to see a large gaming company that cares about its consumers.

@iamhugry

i dream of the day nvidia stops being that one annoying kid in the circle that doesnt wanna play along

@illegalsmilez

Count your days Windows!!!!!

@BaeBunni

Wait what is Intel doing wrong? He just said intel and valve are working together.

@xperiorTR

as a nvidia user on linux, yeah the drivers are a mess, they are slow on new features and they took way too long to have a dailyable experience on wayland
the drivers JUST got the graphics panel on wayland in the nvidia settings app, not to mention the app and its graphical assets are most likely older than a decade, its still using the logo with all of the gradients like its the early 2010's
this is just in the usability side of the proprietary drivers

@Fluffball555

This is why I always liked console

@ThunderBatero

Have AMD, made the switch to CachyOS a month ago. Never going back, Microsofdt is an evil company. Good ridence

@skotters

Linus' middle finger to Nvidia all those years ago still stands today I guess.

@luuketaylor

Nascent vocab drop, hell yeah
