Wow so today I put muos pixie into YouTube and couldn’t find anyone I trusted and thought “wish Joey had a tutorial out” I look again this evening and your here!!
For the 1st SD/OS card: a 16GB does the job just fine. I used one lying around as a test, and it installed flawlessly without taking much space. Performance is fine. This may change in future muOS releases, but just a note for people who have unused smaller SD cards that don't wanna buy another. Unless I missed a note on why a bigger SD should be used?
Thanks! just got one of these for my daughter so I'm trying to get it right the first time.
This tutorial was a lifesaver! I spent so long messing around trying to get my new RG35XX set up and this was so clear. Thank you!!!
I've been round the houses a few times with OS set ups on my Anbernic SP. Relatively new to all this, but started with stock, the MuOS, then tried Knulli and back to MuOS, with this helpful guide. I liked the speed and simplicity of MuOS, but was frustrated with the lack of box art and it was just too fiddly to do with the previous version. Helpful explainer, thanks.
I just ordered a RG35XXSP, thank you so much for an updated MUOS setup video. Very informative and easy to follow. Liked and Subscribed.
Thanks Joey, helpful video. Really like the updated theme and icons in Pixie. I usually run a single SD card setup but used this release as a reason to switch to 2 SDs and make the next major update easier.
Just the video I was looking for thanks Joey you never let us down 😊
I appreciate the guide Joey thank you. Been on Re-fried beans for a minute so completely missed all the banana stuff. Decided to move to a two card system with Pixie and hoping that future updates will allow me to keep all my stuff on SD2 so that I can just flash the primary to the latest and leave SD2 set up stuff untouched.
Thank you so much for highlighting the scrappy setup .. Top man
Love the videos! Honestly though, all devices muos supports have wifi, so it would be nice to have OTA updates instead of reflashing card everytime there is an update. Something like Onion os would be awesome. This update doesn’t seem to be that major, so I will wait for the next I think. Appreciate all the videos
I may have to give this a try again. I had to go back to Knulli as that seemed better for "discovering" your collection. MuOS seemed better for getting directly to a game you knew you already wanted to play.
Great guide, Joey! Any improvements in performance? Or more cosmetic stuff?
That’s amazing tutorial, thank you for your effort))
Just in time to configure my new device, great timing !
You shouldn't have skipped the flash music! I worked really hard on that song.. lol
Joey, im just really struggling right now, i have looking at videos and for the past, no joke, 5 hours, i have been installing mu os and trying to get the new themes to work on pixie and i have not gotten anything. One video mentioned doing it wrong but didnt show how to fix it and I just dont know what to do anymore. Thank you for the video though.
Hey Joey, thanks for your nice and easy to follow setup guide. i just prepared my 2 SD cards while I am waiting for my RG35XXSP to arrive. This will be my very first emulator. I do have one question tho, where do I find those roms, I didnt order a second SD card from anbernic...
Hey Joey, love your videos but could you please consider increasing your audio volume? I personally like to hear the newscast and reviews while playing some games on my pc and almost every other channel has somewhat the same volume, but every time I'm watching some of your videos I have to increase the audio by like 30% and lower the game's volume.
