@djcohen16

The only possible upgrade i see would be too add some sort of 'dragons teeth' outside the walls, BUT I know aesthetics are critical for you. It would radically alter the appearance.

@hylje

In vanilla my standard luxury wall is 2 layers of stone wall, 1 layer of laser turrets and 1 layer of gun turrets with red/green bullets. It was holding up well even prior to white science damage upgrades but now it just shreds any stray biters prior to them touching the wall.

Gun turrets have 400 hp while laser (1000hp) and oil turrets (1400hp) are much tougher so it’s generally a good idea to have them on the backline.

please make a time lapse!
it is so satisfying looking at primiteter wall defend a base

we have a sequel

@antoinegeonet1525

The thing I like to do with my walls is to put them some tiles away of the frontal turrets so biters don't attack them that much and save ressources in the long run. But maybe I'm just wrong about it idk

@greyw0lv

I have 1 question with the wall design, why do you use wavy sections for the straight wall? aesthetics? or is it a fundamental advantage over a flat wall?

@hughjewkes

I was looking at your wall segments on factorio prints and noticed you were using the fluid control mod. Is this necessary for the walls to work properly or can i just replace all the missing pipes on my own? Thank you!

@lucywucyyy

i think i know a way to improve it
you need layers of walls or a pattern of walls around the wall to slow enemies down when they enter the weapons range

@lethis196

What mod are you using for the pipes?

@hansdampf640

"perfect" is a strong word...
without open wall,respective "dragon teeth" method,you can´t come even close to call the defense perfect!
your perimeter is quite nice,no doubt,but in the long run and with very hard settings you´ll waste a lot of resources (mostly in form of building bots)
you can minimize losses by building a delay logic for the repairs of course but you won´t need any of this with dragon teeth defence
