@ArmySpecialForcesRecruiting

This instructor is a Combat Diver who has completed much harder training than this. The training being conducted here is basic preparation for courses such as Combat Dive school and BUD/S second phase. If you can't survive a flooded Aqualung Atlantis dive mask and some hydration from the hose, you'll never survive the training that comes after this.

@pentapwcca8089

This is the calmest also aggressive supportive instructor i've heard ever.

@JncID10T

“Why are you quitting the exercise”
This line is gonna stay in my head for a while

@Brogie_21

That man had the calmest yell I’ve ever heard

@VerybighAirymonSter

"why are you quitting the exercise" the same tone every time almost like a one liner from a dark souls boss just before you respawn

@sloth387

“DO NOT THROW UP ON MY POOL DECK”
“i cannot see you”

had me dying 💀

@Raddkann

“Why are you quitting the exercise?!”

“Because I am being waterboarded, sir!”

@scooterhill1

"Get comfortable being uncomfortable" best training line I've heard in years!

@trousersnake1486

Huge respect for the instructor not only giving it but taking it right with them.

@geroldy4546

Candidate: drowns
Instructor: WHY ARE YOU DYING ON MY POOL DECK

@SweetNightmares_

“Why are you quitting the exercise?!”

“I’m being water boarded, sir”

@pedrell_vanalcocero

"Do not throw up on my pool deck" is the most gentle yet demanding sentence ever uttered

@2SHXRPSHANNON

“Why are you quitting the exercise”
currently breathing water into your lungs and getting screamed at 😂

@jimenez3053

As a former US Marines, I respect the fact that he’s leading by example. Love it.

@PistolPete_0

"Are there any questions?"
"No Sir"
"I cannot see you"
😂

@janine8140

It’s funnier when you imagine he’s genuinely confused when he asks “why are you quitting the exercise?”

@Bread-e9e

“Get comfortable being uncomfortable” some of the best advice I’ve ever heard

@ZamySenpai

Got mad respect for the dude actually showing how its done and not just expecting people to do shit he couldn't do himself.

@deadringer-cultofdeathratt8813

When you accidentally joined a waterboarding class thinking it was a surfing class.

@dfdemt

“Embrace the suck” and “get comfortable being uncomfortable”. Can’t tell you how many times I heard those two phrases. It’s still burned into my brain 20 years later.
