5 days ago Elon Musk was tasked to look into AUKUS therefore we might have a get out of jail free card if Musk advises Trump we are taking advantage of the US by the deal with Trump deciding to tear up the deal - one can only hope.

Re AUKUS - It’s worth noting that I heard the UK Govt are currently reviewing the AUKUS deal! If they pull out, & we’re left in the lurch 👍 will it provide an excuse for Australia to pull out too??

100% agree about the opportunity presented. Unfortunately, our political class (and largely our public, too) are too conservative to recognise it and take any big swings.

We most certainly need to grow up as a political country and leverage our advantages whilst aligning with our geographic neighbours in harmony with our traditional "allies" to our mutual benefit. This can only be done if we grow up politically and stop bickering and start being serious about the future stability of our country..
