I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. Trading has kept me alive for more than five years (you wouldn't believe what my prior agenda was before that), even though I'm not profitable yet, but I know that I will become profitable soon. My struggles are patience, discipline, frustration, anger (I've been able to eliminate that element), depression, and grief (over human losses I can't seem to get over). I'm improving though, because I'm finally understanding that all roads lead to sticking to the plan and the rules, which involves discipline, patience, and acceptance.
