Apparently, they are 3 rules here: 1. Unlimited Bullet with no reloading 2. Spartans can't throw their spears 3. Modern army can shoot through their teammates
My grandfather fought in this battle. If you look closely you can see him at 6:54. He was the one trying to make an end run to flank the enemy and the commander refused and demanded he climb over the mound of bodies like all the other 19,999 Spartans did. He was my hero and this battle should have gone so much differently. I think about it every day
People in the nearby skyscraper: "Hey Jim, come look out the window!!!"
Itβs unclear which side was more stupid: the Spartans for failing to improvise by flanking and swarming - or the modern soldiers for failing to retreat.
Soldier: sir, there are 20,000 men with spears coming straight towards us, what do we do?! Commander: soldier.. load the unlimited ammunition hack
Just imagine if those modern soldiers had learnt that stepping backwards was an option. Absolute game changer.
18,106 dead on one side, 100 dead on the other side. "Victorious" just doesn't seem like the best word to describe it somehow.
Unlimited ammo is one thing. But their barrels would have melted after 5 minutes or so of constant firing
Unlimited bullet is insane π
Unlimited ammo, not needing to reload, firing through soldiers in front and no one thought to use one grenade. So realistic I simply cannot believe it.
I still want to see a platoon of U.S. Marines against 10,000 karens: "I want to speak to your manager"!!
Even assuming all the guns were endlessly belt-fed. I find it odd that none of the Spartans considered throwing the spears
This is 100% accurate, everybody knows our modern soldiers recently upgraded to infinite ammo. Edit WTF?! How did this get so many likes? It's literally a shit comment!
i'll bet those soldiers are glad they had unlimited ammunition, heat resistant barrels, and wrist braces
I love how the Spartans agreed to only attack within the cone of fire from the modern soldiers who have magic rifles that don't overheat and never run out of ammo and don't hit their own soldiers in the back. Very courteous.
"Did you win"?? Spartans : "yes" "What did it cost"?? Spartans: "18106 brave spartans"
Tip to make it even more ridiculous: Line up the 20.000 Spartans one behind the other. This way one single soldier with unlimited ammo would do.
After reading comments for 10 mins i can now say that I am a certified military general now
The random "Are you ready?" At about 4:00 π
