If the <download>click me<a/> doesn't change colour then put your cursor after the > part and press enter - that's what worked for me!
Im not the type of guy that comments frequently but this video deserves so much better than comments thank you so much
those who have problem with html coming just do whatever is told in the video then do these following changes below 1)put the link at the beginning after body 2)now wherever your url ends in the video he wrote like this download>click me </a> but what i did is added an extra "<" before download so now it is <download>click me<a/> that's it and now click me will be shown NOTE : RIGHT CLICK IT on click me , now click on save link it will be done
4 Years of IT in school and 1 year of html and we didnt learn this once. It worked perfectly fine, thanks.
Wow! It worked. Thank you for the comments below and those willing to help. I was able to use both the video and comments to get it done. The tip from Arsh Singh helped.
It's ironic that I am trying to download a FullStack Web Development Video on React from my professor who originally made the videos as download only but now that's not an option. Console to the rescue. Thank you my good man. It worked.
Great idea to inject the href in the same session. This solves the ERROR 403 you get when you open a new session. Respect!
Worked on July 15, 2020! Just opening the link on firefox and shift+right clicking and then saving video as worked just as well, though, and it was easier. Thanks!
thank you so much bro. 🙏 No 2 min intro. No 2 min outro. Not much talking. straight infos and exactly what the titel says <3
Works as of April 21st, 2020...Thanks so much. I put the link after body as it was advised in the comments. After that, you will see above the video (left side) click me. Right click on it and choose save link as and that's it. THANKS SO MUCH
This video is so underrated...works perfectly
It worked perfectly, even for me who knows nothing about anything like html! Thanks so much
YES! Thank you!! it works (guys note. put the link at the beginning after body, then save as)
Thank you so much! My professors have recently started putting lectures on here and I like to listen to them while riding my bike so downloading makes it way easier to do that.
Thank you so much for the tips, genius! They were super helpful. It didn’t work exactly as you described, but with a little improvisation, I managed to download the video. Great content—keep it up!
Savior. Works like a charm! Here's my method, which is slightly faster. Instead of copying the element, I edit the HTML of the <video> and change it to <a download href="...">blahblah</a> directly. Since Zoom disabled rightclicking on the video, but since I have an extension that overrides right-click blocks (a useful extension to have, by the way), I could simply right click that "blahblah" and "Save Link As..."
it seems it is not working anymore. I think Zoom changed something
Thank you! I tried this before and it worked and is still working as of July 22nd, 2020
For those having trouble, it is imperative that you copy the instructions exactly as they are spelled out. For me this meant watching snippets of the video over and over again, until I got it right. Also for me ( using a Macbook pro, Catalina and Chrome browser), I got the click me button, but it was not 'clickable'. I did find however, that if I then hovered over the video itself and then right clicked, that I got a 'save video as' which I then was able to download the video from. Thank you for these instructions :)
