When I originally produced Xenogenesis it was planned with vocals on top. I ended up releasing it as an instrumental because I didn’t find any fitting vocals at that time but when the song went viral again this summer I decided to give it another shot. I remember listening to the original instrumental version years ago when it was first released. I had it on loop for every opportunity I could find. This went on every day for around 2 years and it's still a banger. It's so surreal to see it with vocals years later now, especially with such beautiful ones from Neffex. Xenogenesis will remain my favorite TheFatRat song of all time.

Words can't describe how I feel about this piece of music, the vocals just make it 10x better. Every time the "outro song" would be used in other videos I'd feel this sense of nostalgia and basically yell in my head: "that's TheFatRat! My childhood favourite artist!"
