15:45 There's a thermal pad connecting the SOC to the metal plate. The PCB is against the back of the display, not in contact with the backplate. You're feeling the CPU, not the screen. Open it up and take a look, there's a lil blue sponge connecting the backplate or soc transferring heat to act as a heat sink. If it was display heat, temps would correlate with brightness, but you notice temperature responds to load. Try NextUI!

You can change your DS screen to full size for the screen and use L2/R2 to display the secondary screen. I have it on mine running Knulli OS.
