Just bought one yesterday as I got a new job as a roofing contractor and as a woman who also has a disabled arm, normal extension ladders are way too heavy for me. 
But this telescoping ladder seems complicated to use so thank you for the great explanation!

I wish there were more videos of ladders being used to cut and trim tall trees with many densely leaf-covered branches. Most importantly - how do you slide the top of the long ladder through thick leaves and branches in order to keep the ladder securely in place before you climb up it?
