I am a truck driver and can 100% confirm that theft has exploded exponentially. I have had my trailer broken into twice over the last month while at a truck stop taking my break stolen from a shipper this past week one of which I was supposed to pick up.

Truckers have been saying THEY are being robbed by the BROKERS for years. If brokers rob the drivers, you know, they will rob the manufacturer

A very simple fix, get rid of the brokers. They are the bad guys themselves. The Shippers should be dealing with the transportation companies directly.

I tell you what else is a crime, when I go and purchase that brand new refrigerator or TV and it only last 1 year then I have to throw those units away because it is not worth repairing...the boards are made from cheep components designed to fail in such a short time.

After 15 years in the trucking business I would not believe a broker telling me it wasn't them who actually dispatched a load. I'm willing to bet for every stolen load, there's four legitimate loads that were delivered but the broker never paid the trucker and there's probably two more where the legitimate shipper didn't even pay the broker.

Most expensive, heavily militarized police force in history, I can't check my account balance or pay a bill without entering an OTP, bank threatening to close my account if I don't scan my DL and a copy of a utility bill in my name, police are even trained to take cash out of your bag and keep it without due process, and yet *the country is still crime ridden*.

As a owner operator this is definitely a problem..just last week I found an airtag on my equipment, called the cops to submit a police report and they seemed very uninterested. Their words exactly "what do you want us to do" how bout find out who's tracking me and my loads before someone gets hurt.
