60 percent is a joke it won’t move the needle. Prepare for shortages and sky rocketing prices
Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in December 2024
He really thinks China is stupid.
China said zero stupid...
Trump beginning to fold like a cheap lawn chair.
I don't know why y'all keep calling them "tariffs." Call them what they REALLY are. REPUBLICAN tax increases on the Middle Class.
Tariffs will increase costs of finished goods and components used throughout US manufacturing. This will be an immediate and huge hike in inflation. To fight inflation the Fed will have to hike interest rates which will be wonderful for the billionaires but possibly take away the middle class. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..
1. You lose all negotiating power if you announce this BEFORE you make a deal. 2. 60% is still a huge number.
60% the manufacturers won’t eat it. Most small factories are low profit margins so it’s still pass onto the USA consumers. USA are used to paying low prices so it’s still a disaster . Logistic and warehouse workers will out of work. Parts for usa manufacturing also goes up.
History will remember this as The Fart of the Deal
Trump is aimless.
I honestly can't see how the economy won't be in shambles within the next year with these tariffs. The average American makes about 60k a year. Imagine a 10% increase in prices across the board, it's gonna be like the 2008 recession at this rate.
The problem is that there is no stability. No normal business can strive on a whim of the president. Too much risk which will be very bad for the Economy.
0% or no talks , simple as that
I'm sorry, who's taking the President of his word? 'cause his words not worth s***
60% is still not a % for trade to continue.
chinese here. we insist u keep 145%
There's nothing to talk about. Let's end the connection. Anyway, China is already working on shifting its market now.
60% and 145% doesn’t make much of a difference. For small businesses they can barely afford 20%. This will cause a shortages of goods regardless
