I've missed the chance to add comments on the last few episodes, but I'll avoid talking about them and focus on today's episode because it was one of the ones I was looking forward to the most.

Overall, it was a pretty good episode! When I read those chapters in the manga, I was crying the whole time, and whilst I did cry watching the episode. It didn't feel as emotionally impactful, but I think it was due to the pacing. In the manga, it was spread over a couple of chapters. I think it just lacked the build-up I felt in the manga.

Also, they cut out a couple of snippets between Mia, Pierre and the soldiers, which I was slightly disappointed by because those snippets reflect one of Mia's greatest strengths, her ability to build connections with people and unite them.

When, I've watched your reactions to previous episodes, there weren't any comments yet, so I don't know if it was mentioned. The anime is covering the first volume of the light novel, but it's also bringing in elements from the second volume, which is just starting to be adapted in the manga. So, I think anime will have an original ending because I was very confused when Erza and her familiar were introduced.

I feel like I'm being nitpicky. I did enjoy the episode. It was emotional. However, I feel like manga was more impactful. Generally, this series has been faithful to the source material, I think if there had been an extra episode, it could have allowed for slightly slower pacing.

I feel like I just repeated myself a little bit towards the end. Apologies for the very long-winded comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the episode, I am interested in seeing how the anime will end.

Overall, it was a great reaction, and I hope you have a nice day or night when you read this ^o^
