I can relate to this so much. I quit my work 2 weeks ago and aimed to start my own company. A few days later I got held up by two-armed people and by force took my phone and wallet off me. Long story short though, an hour later I got robbed of all my savings and at first, I was panicking and running around. But on the way to the police, I just prayed to Jesus and forgave them. I did not seek revenge and justice; I just gave it to Jesus and did what I could from my side. I know and trust that He knows what is best for me and no matter what He is for me. All I could think of was the story of Job where he Kept his faith in the Lord and did not become angry and lose faith. He kept his eyes fixed on the Lord and walked by faith, and not by sight.

Honest Question.. How does turning them the other cheek make them respect you more ? Cause some people, when you do that they think your weak and walk all over you again if U dont watch out. And I ask cause I turned my cheek many times for someone in my life till a few months ago when he did something that was just it for me. I can’t turn that cheek anymore.. it feels wrong for me but still I know that GOD wants me to.. but it feels like if I do.. we start all over again so I now stand my ground and let him know that it wasnt oke with me for hurting me.. I spoke up .. but it didnt help and letting my guard down wont either so how can turning my cheek now will help me in this situation ..
