@thatjpwing

You inspired me to install BunsenLabs Linux on my Microsoft Surface Laptop 2. It went as smooth as silk. I'm really enjoying it.

@developerjavalinux

I never imagined I could like a minimalist distro. Busenlabs was the best choice.

@ThalassTKynn

I ran crunchbang on my old netbook back in the day. It really brought out the best in it.

@ethanb1836

Hey Veronica! Great content! It's my first time viewing your channel today and I'm glad I came by it today! Absolutely great content and I love the way you present it in a very refreshing and honest vibes! Absolutely valuable for someone like me who's currently re-learning all about linux again!

@ockertwessels649

Spot on Veronica, for not inserting an ad after 10 sec's. I must have killed hundreds of vids that hit me with an ad so early. Right then, right there! Do they think that I'm that hard-up for content that I can mostly find everywhere? (Not your videos by the way, like your online guides they are easy to understand, helpful and fresh. So, thanks!)

@OpenBASED

As a fan of both BL and CB++ of course I'd like to see a comparison video! My favorite of the two is still CB++, it is more lightweight and is a lot more like the original CB.. while BL feels more experimental with each release and comes with some other features.

@zorko8920

I am excited by this. #! Has been my goto distro for many years, and has been the only distro so close to my own previous configuration of Ubuntu (#! Was originally based of it) .. Thank you for mentioning BunsenLabs ❤ I have some installing and testing to do!!

@hristo.bogdanov

Love her trying to show the installer by rotating the laptop - great way to show your optimism for new OS.

@rmcellig

I use puppy Linux debian bookworm edition. Love it. I also use pure debian.

Your videos and personality are awesome!!

@pitape1822

Fully agree on discord vs forum. The reference should be something like Arch wiki. So easy to find stuff there.

@garypalmieri7000

thanks, just extended the life to an old dell netbook with the installation of this distro.

@imthestein

I looked into the differences between Administered and Administrated and I think they're correct in their use of Administrated but both are reasonable to use. They more or less mean the same thing but Administrated is more often used in the overseeing of operations or functions of an organization or system. Administering something generally implies a more hands-on connotation, as in they are doing it in person (e.g. administering medication). Sorry, you got me curious and I had to look up what the distinction was

@AddieDirectsTV

I tried to install it on an old laptop I hang onto to mess around with while I was watching the replay. I couldn't get it to boot off the internal SSD. This is a laptop I've successfully ran Arch (vanilla, not Manjaro), Slackware, FreeBSD, and several other operating systems on.

Time for a CB++ video @Veronica Explains?

@popolony2k

Great...Finally you installed BunsenLabs...my preferred distro :)

@vmaxmadness

Great little distro for no-frills users.

@sysadmin-info

Some kind of a video grabber that is able to show the boot process would be a nice advantage. You just plug the grabber into USB port in the machine where you are streaming with OBS or other software for streaming. Connect the HDMI cable to grabber and to a machine that you are booting up and that's it.

@vanowen3976

I started linux using CB as my first distro, and still plodding on with Bunsenlabs, I won't give it up. Its the one I've been going back to for over 15 years. Its minimalism at its best.

@ibizenco

I have tried Bunsenlabs Linux on an ancient HP computer with a Pentium 4 "630" CPU, and it worked great.

Openbox (or Fluxbox) may look "exotic" and not very inviting to use, but it is not that hard to "learn" to configure.

I am currently not running Bunsenlabs, but I am keeping it in mind as a possible Linux distro.

@albrow651

Really enjoyed this! I used Openbox for many years, before switching to Cinnamon and then Plasma. I've started to use tiling in Plasma, but it's not quite flexible enough, so I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing about how you get on with Sway!

Very temped to buy an IODD ST400 now. Would be very handy!

Also, completely agree on what you said about Bitwig and Ardour. I actually used Ardour for podcast editing for a few years and felt that it was the perfect fit, but Bitwig wins for music. With some WINE shenanigans (yabridge) it even works well with the handful of Windows VSTs (XLN Audio, Spitfire Labs) that I've tried.

@johnc3403

I loved Crunchbang Linux. It was the first GNU/Linux OS that I really mads my own. I copnfigured the hell out of it and was miserable as hell when it died it's death. I never took to Bunsen Labs for some reason..
