FINALLY! Someone who isn't bashing it or someone comparing it to IPad! I've had a few Fires and this is the best one by far! Yes, there are quirks and stuff. That's with everything. Yes, I would like something else one day, but for the price point and usability, it's just fine.

Had a fire tablet years ago. Never again. No support for lots of Android apps, and no good software update support either. So once Amazon doesn't give you the latest OS update your tablet is left in the past. And you can't even put the normal Google play store on it or root it, so now I have an old fire tablet that doesn't do anything except play an old version of the Netflix app. It's better to buy a full android tablet than depend on Amazon's Fire OS. At least that way you can root it and put your own OS on it. Good value hardware wise, nice pretty screen, affordable, but what's the point if it's a dud now and I can't do anything with it. Waste of money. It was good while it lasted, but short lived. And it is an HD 1080p screen too. I hope things have changed, but I'm never gonna get a fire tablet again.

My friend's HD 10 tablet is also good as yours. My fire tablet 8 pro works the same, but slightly different but a go go

Honestly the Jing paid ain't that bad and I prefer it over that Amazon one for just being open source But yeah affordability is pretty important
