Soooo.... yeah, you can make this a lot better by racking twice. Take it from the cold crash and siphon into a new bottle but don't take the dregs. Just take the top 4/5ths of fluid. Let sit in sealed bottle for a day. Then re-rack to ANOTHER bottle this time straining through several layers of clean cheesecloth into your final bottle. Will pull out most of the yeast and particulates that make your final product so cloudy. Just something to try. Good luck. P.S. My dad used to add raspberry and dandelion to his homemade strawberry hooch and it was pretty clean and tasty.

@IzzeeDaGhost

Nah, fruit 2 week min , 2 week wait to clear, before I drink yeasty (cloudy) dry wine 😂

@gus.stviaaa

Mash the strawberries up and strain to reduce pectin which makes the drink cloudy because no one wants to drink cloudy mead

@num9908

Whats the point of a cold crash if you pull it out and it's cloudy af lol

@TheInfiniteMag

Yeah no most wines you wanna ferment much longer so flavors can develop

And no that is not ready to drink unless your distilling it to make moonshine you need to let that sit a while longer theres still a bunch of sediment it should be completely clear befor drinking

And no the fridge dosnt help clear it use bentinite, turbo clear, haptic enzyme, or just let it sit for a couple months and then siphon it

And the amount of yeast you used for such a small bottle is way too much and no its not making it stronger thats not how that works

@mainegardenguy703

She needs a siphon and secondary fermentation. What shes making is good, but it needs to sit for 6+ months to mature. Patience is a virtue in winemaking. Lol

@azcomicgeek

Brewsy leaves out 90% of the instructions unless you like fizzy, cloudy, cheap tasting wine at a ridiculously high price. I tried them and got better results with basic bread yeast and a little youtube knowledge.

@penelope9548

Can I ask what you are using to maintain the heat during the fermentation process please?

@Metaldetectingmidgard

Its still cloudy 🤷 and with the smount of space left in that bottle your rinning the risk of infection or oxidising the wine and turning it to vinigar

@bryghtgyrl

21 days then 3months in the dark

@arnoldralph2363

Hey M0M, Thanks For The Basil❤

@mr.hollywood552

Not a single racking then cold crashing and stabalizing? That must be the yeastiest tasting drink ever.

@dee_van5946

Why basil why not mint or hibiscus or something even lavender would work better am I wrong or is basil just a weird choice

@veegrace8585

broo the cup is a pop it!!

looks like from jinx😏😏

@minka866

Seven days? Natural soda .

@Frosty_Nangs

My strawberry mead has been brewing for 8 weeks now, and I plan on brewing for another 8.

@nomadjon4465

At least you used an airlock.

@magdalinesophia3610
