I wish you spoke more about Milchek and his call with Mark. Milchek just finished fighting for more respect and to be treated like a decent human to his superior, and then Mark asks Milchek for the same from HIS superior, causing Milchek to tear up then give Mark the respect of not invading his privacy and giving him the day off, life/work "balance". I loved that scene.
When Milchick said Mo-no-syl-la-bi-cal-ly I was screaming at the screen. DO IT SETH!
Love that last shot of Cobel standing with the fireplace in the background. Made her look devilish
I took "You tricked me" as a reference to the last time he saw Helly at the Lumon event when she tricked him by pretending to be Helena
I have a strong feeling that we're about to see the other side of Milchick here soon, and I am 150% here for it
Milchick: โLeave it openโ ๐ช๐ฅ ๐คฃ
Probably my favorite episode. The way they make dialogue feel like an action scene is masterful
Do you remember guys from season 1 when Petey said to Mark, " What if for 8 hours, you kill people, and you have no idea about it?" Omg
LETS GOOO MILKSHAKE!! "Devour feculence." Oof!
Burt was literally just a driver. He didnโt have an outie drive and then an innie kill. He severed to create a soul that would be redeemable. If he was severed before that it wouldnโt provide the split needed for his own thought process to pay off.
Hi @ThinkStory, my friend Lauren and I agree that Cobel is the mother of one of the main characters. However, we think itโs Helly not Mark. Hereโs why: 1. When we see the photo of Cobel with braids at the James Eagel middle school, she clearly had red hair. Helly is the only character with red hair in the entire series and that choice is intentional 2. If Jame Eagan has potentially 100s of kids, why was Helena chosen as the main heir? Well what if her mom was the brain behind severance and Jame Eagan wants to preserve or utilize that intellectual pedigree
I was so happy to see Radar this episode. Last episode when Drummond was in Irving's house, no Radar in sight, I was so afraid he had been k!lled
โI wish youโd take them rawโ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ such a weird way to say that
Surgical anesthesia is a form of severance. One theory is that anesthesia prevents a patient from remembering the pain of surgery. Lumon started with ether, a way to forget the pain.
Dylan screaming Gretchen had me on the floor. ๐๐ Edit: I didn't expect to get so much likes thanks and I'm from Kenya btw ๐ฐ๐ช. I know we should be laughing at Dylan G but that shit was funny.๐
This channel is a PURE GEM! The writing, the depth of analysis, the editing, the references, the jokes... Everything is so on point, detailed and meticulous. It's incredible to think that this video came out a few hours only after the last Episode came out. How can it be so fast?? Are you able to watch the episodes early? Anyway, thanks for all the great work. This is a key part of me enjoying some deep and thoughtful shows/movies.
Irving will be back. We still have no idea how he got all that information about the severed employees. We still have no idea about who he called on the pay phone or who he's working for. Plus Drummond breaking in to his apartment and finding his files means these two characters are on a crash course to interact with each other.
I thought the reveal was that Drummond complained about the use of big words, not Miss Huang. Devour Feculence is the best thing I've ever heard in my life from here to eternity. That's gravestone material. And I think the extra reveal was that Seth was able to figure that out when Drummond got all up in his face.
Iโm confused - where are you getting Burt is severed to kill people? I thought he simply meant he drove them somewhere and someone like Drummond did the dirty work. He made it clear his innie was very innocent.
