I tried PyCharm , Zed and Wing,.. I found Wing to be the fastest, simplest and easy to use. The non-commercial perpetual license ($95) is cheap compared to their commercial license ($250).. however what is the main advantage of the "Jupyter Notebooks" feature? If it's a tool I'll be using frequently, I don' t mind paying if it's noticeably better than a free/open-source tool.
BTW, any plans to use these IDEs with AI? I have no idea what they mean, but some of the editors feature "AI integration" with OpenAI API keys , AI Chat with gpt-4o models, AI Refactor? Are these just buzz-words, or is there a productive way to use AI in your development? Would love to see a video on this!
