@EpicKingBaastl

the absurd dallas moonrock idea is somehow still less insane than the actual payday 2 story lmao

@youngthinker1

The funniest part about Payday is the lore.
From what I understand, SCP took notes from how schizophrenic this franchise is.

@MercIsMercIsMerc

the hoxton medic bag voice line is so fucking funny bc he's not even like loudly exclaiming it, its like he's just plainly stating it, except the audio balancing on it is bad so he's just REALLY LOUD

@cybieck8690

4:58 that heist would unironically go hard af

@sauceinmyface9302

I know people say "Payday 2 had 10 years to get good, it's unfair to judge Payday 3 for missing features." But like, these features are about as barebones as you can get for a game launch, and I feel like they should have realized how core they were to what made Payday 2 good at the end of the day.

@TheMetalfreak360

The leveling system, when me and my buddy found out how it worked, promtly put the entire game down and haven't played it since, we like a lot that Payday3 does, but there is just so much we despise just as much.

@eStecko

I have to give credit where credit is due. Payday 3 is only game where hit marker sounds actually gave me tinnitus. Thank you Payday 3.

@CitizenMecc

Online only, but no talkies till we're doing the deed. I really hope they bring lobby chat back because I feel it's crucial to communicate with the team. Going to keep an eye on the game for when it's complete state gets released.

@TrilainaBloodwind

Similar to Darktide, this game has a TON of potential, and at its heart, is a blast to play.

Just a shame both were so horribly botched by the studio and make the games undesirable to play.

@thoalis4325

The progression is the worst because of all the conflicting opinions the devs have vs the community. One dev on stream said they made the new system to make people play the heists for longer and they were scared people would rush heists in minutes similar to Ukrainian Job or god forbid Crimeboss. Meanwhile the community wants experience per heist completion and percent completion just like Payday 2 which would fix their issue with people not playing heists long enough because 100% means more exp, and would solve the community's issue with not getting any exp for completing a heist.

@Exodus-RH

As someone who hasn't played PD2, I love PD3. But all the points brought up in this video are 100% accurate. Having extremely limited communication can be really challenging when you are trying to do specific things in a heist or what you and the others are expecting (loud or quiet). Above all else though what makes me put down the game after playing one heist per day because I had that itch, it's the fucking progression system. This is a heist game for christ sake, if I'm not doing extremely specific things that I can't communicate to others then I'm not progressing at which point what is the point of doing the heists.

@Ooffoop

Honestly “almost functional” is pretty good for a new release these days

@blackknightz5036

The biggest joke is people defending the broken state of the game by saying PD2's launch wasn't good either, it's not like you should improved over your last game or something. Not to mention replacing so many mechanics that worked before for something completely retarded for example changing stats numbers for bars.

@kadenbaio9758

People are somehow level 70 with no idea how any of the heist mechanics work. Truly impressive

@ROMAGNUM45

Team: Gee I wonder if the rest will go loud or stealth?

Me: 2 shotguns, heavy armor and a triple digit threat value

@ratheruncreativename3252

The best part about the Payday 3 launch is that, if I recall correctly, there was almost immediately a workaround mod to let you play offline. Like, how difficult would it have been to make an offline "play with bots, but you don't get any achievement progress" mode if people figured out how to do it themselves almost immediately?

Granted, "offline but you don't get to unlock anything" is still a bad system that locks you out of cool perks and weapons if you don't have an internet connection, but at least people could play some kind of Payday 3 while the poorly thought out always-online servers were being used to toast marshmallows.

@jjgamer1178

If they do add communication to the “planning” phase wish they could shave a group vote on if they wanna go stealth or loud

@konradzukowski213

I was genuinely planning to pre-order PD3, but once i found out that it was gonna be "always online", i immediately scratched that idea.
Right now, from what I have seen so far, i feel like I've dodged a bullet by doing so

@Андрей-ф6н5о

I like the style of your videos so much. A great way to present information.
