The only thing this needs is even more ads. One every 4 minutes. Well done.
I love this channel... I binge from it all the time.
This was great stuff but I think you overdid the background music.
this is an accurate version of history without bias. Cheers
Just found and subscribed. I like what you all do! Keep it up. Merch look bad AF too.
Chill with the constant background musical concert.
Cheers Martin. Something different. I found that really interesting.
An important part part of Theseus slaying the Minotaur was - he was given a ball of string. He tied to the entrance of labyrinth, without that string he wida starved to death in the labyrinth.
Music is way too loud. And annoying.
i didnt notice any issue with music volume; i think the issue is what we in business call "Operator Error" . Anyway, regarding the first episode on the book of Thoth; The whole bull theme in religion and myth can usually be traced all the way back to antiquity, where you find various cults of bull worship. The most prominent being the Canaanite worship of Baal, who himself was depicted as a bull-headed man. Hollow idols of Baal would be set ablaze until the statue was capable to burn the offerings placed within it. many offerings could be made, bu the highest of them all, which was most likely to gain favor with Baal, was a living child. the Canaanites were a subset of the Phoenician empire in the Levant. the Phoenicians arent well discussed, but it turns out that they were probably one of the earliest know internationalist, who sailed the known word, trading from port to port. There are cities in Italy that were founded as Phoenician outposts. with trade comes culture, and knowing that to be the case, one can start to see the lineage of the ancient bull cults throughout many societies. the names and stories change to meet the local market, but the core remains, in some form or fashion. in many instances throughout western civilization we see this residue in the form of bull iconography, whether its a religion over here, or a myth over there, they all tug at the same yarn.
really enjoyed the insights in this video, very well put together! iβve always found the mythology around the Book of Thoth fascinating, but some people argue itβs more of a myth than a real artifact. what do you all think? is it worth the hype or just a story?
What a great video! β€β€ very informative and interesting to watch π thank you !! I loove this channel!! Also, I find it funny how people are complaining about adds.... there are simple ways around those ... πππ and u don't have to be a super computer/ phone savvy super genius.. if a high-school drop-out with a G.E.D. can figure it out, so can all u smart people out there complaining... instead of looking into being a "member" of channel and paying for add free shows.
The Wiccan top two rules : AN IT HARM NONE, do as thou wilt. Also, THE RULE OF THREE, whatever you put out into the world, good or bad, will come back at you to the power of THREE .
WOw, excellent πππ
The pagan drums, flutes and chants are cool too. My people still use them all.
Truth, no joke. My friend bought a deck of tarot cards back in the day and we sat and he gave us readings. For some, they came true. Then came Dave's turn and he got one of death. A few weeks later he died. My friend said he burned them one by one after that. He stated he heard every card scream
History Channel had a whole series about the thirteen crystal skulls but always mentioned it as true.
Agreed. Graham Hancock fingerprints of the gods audiobook has a few in the first few minutes, but then just him reading over rain sounds. Far better. I appreciate the effort but damn.
That poor Anna. She might have been unaware of any deception at all. Her father, could have had one of his quides plant that skull and later,, had them suggest her exsploration of the pyramid. Not meaning harm,, but building self-esteem.
