I think the answer is 19 MINS 1st - A and B= 2mins Return by A= 1min 2nd - A and C= 5mins Return by A= 1min 3rd - A and D= 10mins SO THE SUM OF ALL TIME IS 19mins❤❤

A&D goes together (took 10 mins) A brings the boat back in 1 min A&C goes together (took 5 mins) A brings the boat back in 1 min again Then finally A&B goes together in 2 mins =10+1+5+1+2 =19 minutes

Firstly the A and B will go together taking 2 min and A will return in 1 min then to group the maximum times together C and D will go taking 10 min and B will return from the other side in 2 min and finally A and B will go in 2 min Total time = 2+1+10+2+2= 17 mins .

If your answer is 12 its wrong don't worry because the reason is if A and B goes another side with boat then c and d can't come because boat is on another side. Thats why A Come to carry others. Hope it will help to understand
