@TOMOJWWW

And it was one of Bruce's best ever roles.

@jayclark1551

At the time Travolta was a long forgotten star who hadn’t been in anything in ages. Samuel Jackson was still playing very minor character roles and like he said Bruce was Die Hard Mr.Hollywood at the time. I would’ve never guessed it would’ve work out so perfectly. Those 3 guys are so perfect in each role it’s almost impossible to imagine anyone else playing them.

@mangymako

The fact he told Bruce “no” twice shows how dedicated he is to his stories

@daneperry8025

Every member of pulp fiction is perfectly cast in their roles ,that's why that film holds up all those years later .

@guillermocalderon2793

Best decision ever! Im glad Bruce didn't get his feelings hurt and was open to listen to suggestions. We all ended up with a great movie to watch
😊

@ColdCashLA

Ah Bruce...he nailed that role perfectly and added so much to the movie. His presence and realism was incredible. Prayers for u big guy. Legitimate tough and kind guy

@heatmizer2336

I hope Bruce Willis can find peace. Dementia is such an awful disease.

@deaddisciple5259

I could listen to this guy talk about movies all day

@ryansobol8991

What I love about Tarantino is that he respects his audience. He thinks you and I are infinitely imaginative. So he writes stories that are satisfying but leave room. And he picks actors that are visceral in their performances to create these epic moments. It's a real story. Not tripe. No exposition. You're invested in the characters in this story and you don't really know how to feel about it even after it ends. The conflict goes on internally. That's great cinema

@harrisonmccartney4878

This is why Tarantino has earned his pick of top talent actors in his films. He trusts the actors, and the actors trust him. Thank God Bruce Willis was humble and smart enough to trust Tarantino, because his role as Butch was perfectly cast, as were the roles of Jules and Vincent and everyone else in Pulp Fiction and all other Tarantino movies. The man has a profound knowledge of who will work out for a role and who won't.

@MacRay14

It's always incredible how quickly into his career Tarantino got these HUGE stars to be in his movies.

@Phil659

Quentin is such a masterful storyteller

@rpfcreates4476

I love that Bruce Willis saw how fun the Vincent role was though. Thankfully he crushed it as Butch.

@chinaskibukowski7747

Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest movies ever made, every single person involved was masterful in their part. It's one of those movies you can watch every time it's on.

@calogeroc.costantino7737

Love love love love love love love Bruce Willis.. I wish him well❤

@dwayne3189

I can't imagine anyone else saying "Zeds dead, Baby. Zeds dead."

@just_vish526

Butch choosing a weapon is one my all-time favourite scenes 😂

@vince7189

he was perfect for that role too.

@Google_Does_Evil_Now

Bruce Willis was so ferking good in that. I remember at the time being so impressed with his performance.

Everything about Pulp Fiction was so right.

@JohannesLG12203

great example of how a great visionary Tarantino is.
he said it himself, Bruce Willis was on of the top 3 stars in the world and still got denied 2 roles in Pulp Fiction.
Because Tarantino knew exactly who would fit
