“We shouldn’t write off 27.5 yet”. Or ever! Still make a lot of sense for a lot of riders. If your local trails are tighter, twisty rides, with short punchy descents and climbs, it’s still spot on. Glad they included some 27.5 rigs in the reviews.
Canfield and Revel deserve way more recognition than they get. My 2016 Balance is 34lbs and I have not once used the compression switch. Wide open, all the time, and zero problems. It’s black magic. Glad to see Revel keeping the technology alive.
So glad Bike Mag releases all of these at the same time. Pinkbike takes the upload once per day, get more views route(nothing wrong with this, though). I just like the Bible reviews more anyways.
These are some of my favorite videos. These and Pink Bike
Shows that large bike manufactures are focused on snake oil innovation to sell bikes. It seems to take a bike nerd with a dream that can bypass the bean counters to bring true game changing products to market. Well done Revel.
Will this bike, be a good candidate for a Mullet??? I think, it has possibilities ...160mm front 29er and the 165mm rear with 27.5
Can’t wait for them to release a longer travel 29er than they currently offer with the Rascal
This and the Enduro are my two favorite bikes in this year's bible. Big travel bikes that can pedal? Yes please!
LETS GO, Love my Revel Rail!
Are you thinking about a hardtail-test next Time? would Love it
Still loving my 2017 Canfield Balance like it's a brand new bike. Too bad the bike industry wasn't this enthusiastic about the Canfield bikes.
These videos are giving me major trail envy
May I ask how you get those shots of the bikes
How would you compare the Revel Rail to the YT Jeffsy 27 and the Esker Elkat? In terms of plushness, pop and value?
Where are you guys? That place you guys talk at looks beautiful
Given they don’t offer a long-travel 29er, would any of you make it a reverse mullet? I guess the front would have to be 160mm to avoid altering geo too much...
Can this thing handle hard charging enduro race style riding? I like 27.5 and it’s on my short list next to a Nomad and a Patrol.
Odd there is no mention of the lack of ISCG mounting, therefore no bash guard options. That and the the lack of reviews is what steered me to the Bronson V3 instead but man it sounds like exactly what I was looking for otherwise.
Nice bike, similar numbers to my 17 carbon Patrol.
