Fantastic song from when the youth of the day realised that sticking together was actually a better idea than allowing themselves to be divided. The music of 1977-1982 will never be topped. Punk, ska, mod, 2 Tone. I didn't realise how lucky we were.

@andyhiscox9194

The Clash, simply the best band ever.

@koko-pu5vn

I remember when the Clash came out in the 70s, real game changer for me. Thanks guys for being "The Only Band That Matters."

@anneliamohara2842

Beautiful man ! God bless Joe ! ☘️ Irish people loved him !

@Cweisman35

This song is one of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's 660 "Songs That Shaped Rock And Roll."

@angieang9789

I'm a little late (in nyc) but remembering the legend Joe Strummer on the day we lost him (Dec 22, 2002), listening to one of his favourite songs ❤❤❤

@tattyshoesshigure5731

Such a great song... The Clash are one of the greatest bands EVER!

@keyup2626

The Greatest Band Ever.

@jacquelinecrichton7397

Yeah I'm Scottish but this song resonates with me. Brilliant as a 14 year old in my cold bedroom. Friends didn't understand but it was a talking point to have a punk as a friend. All lovely friends and we shared too many giggles. Yes we did

@MichaelBonfield

This, and Complete Control are the two best Clash songs

@Quietfire83

RIP to one of the greatest punk rock legends, Joe Strummer! ❤🎉❤🎉

@BanjoLuke1

A good time to be 15/16.
I saw them at the Electric Ballroom and it was... wonderful.
Pure entertainment.

@chrismurraymusic

This some kind of official video and it’s not even the complete song?

@michaelodea3126

Best band ever. Best track ever. That's all.

@red.5475

Probably the most important band, of my life. I had a Clash patch on my backpack in Jr High, back in the early 90's.

@gordonmathers4413

remember as 16-17yo with radio held close to my ear between 10-12 pm listening to John Peel and Festive Fifty - that music has stayed with me for 40+ years, my own favourites in order were SLF, Joy Division, Sex Pistols and Clash but complete control in my top 3 songs along with alternative ulster and god save the queen...you can envy the youth of today in lots of ways but not in their music!! the lyrics of white man resonate still now, and every 10 years or so, they shine a light on our society and it's issues

@Chrisamusic1

One of the greatest songs, ever.

@mikelthemechanic9025

The Clash, the Jam, the Undertones, Stiff little Fingers, Steel Pulse, the Selecter, the Specials, ............where have all the wild times gone

@gazzabel7040

One of the very first records I ever bought played it to death loved the lyrics ….just goes to show how music brings people together regardless of colour

@grahammurray5469

Glasgow Apollo 1980 one of the best I have seen live, strummer legend!!!!
