they don't let us comment there, so i'll comment here. i hate the new model. they presented the model not doing what the user asked and instead trying to soften the speech as a good thing, but when i ask something of an AI, i don't want it to interpret and twist it, it needs to do exactly what i asked. i'm not some idiot that needs an AI to moderate my speech for me. of course, i would never even use AI to write a message for me like that, but i still need AI to be objective.

There's some pretty blatant propaganda in this. First, they describe GPT-5, but it’s basically just what DeepSeek R1 already is. Later, they compare computing time as if that automatically means it's going to be better. The whole point of Deepseek R1 is that it is better without needing all the compute for the training. I’m all for American AI supremacy, but I don’t appreciate being manipulated.

we need a hierarchical chain of thought, that can be interacted with along with knowledge of the baseline higher order factors, that are adjustable to verify how changes lead to any outworking that leads to the supplied rational positions
