Wow. I love WP Engine, as it speeds up the performance and helps me fix security issues in Wordpress. I do agree they could do more for the open source community, but it’s a free marketplace and plenty of themes and plugins make millions off the Wordpress platform, so why would Wordpress single out WP Engine like that, unless it’s personal?
