I started my home decor blog in february 2024 and with my pinterest account. The traffic since then increased after 3 months and then nothing more happened. In December however, the traffic dropped to zero basically and the number of ranked keywords went from 300 to 14. I would guess it was because i wrote about everything in the home decor niche and did not narrow it down. My motivation has been at the bottom, but i have decided to change the blog and write about scandinavian decor to narrow it down a bit. My pinterest account i reached to about 10k montly views,but no more than that. When nothing was improving as much as i wanted, i have decided to focus only on my blog first and then focus on pinterest when my blog will go better. In september me and my girlfriend had a daughter and its been hard to write on my blog. When much of my time is going to my full-time job and my daughter and with low motivation and not knowing the answer to the small details for improving my blog and pinterest it is getting so frustrating. So when i start writing about scandinavian decor how narrow do i need to be? Should i only write about curtains for example for 20 articles and then start writing about something else or can i write about more than one thing?

Your videos are so helpful! I have started a blog but not sure it is a popular niche but I already had the domain for it. It is a literary site where I post blog articles and book reviews. I am new to all this so it has been a learning curve for sure. Thanks for the content that you are sharing with your audience!

Thank you for the informative video, Anastasia. What about images that you post on your website and then pin to Pinterest? Are they mostly AI generated, purchased or your own? I understand that some images come directly from affiliated websites but unsure about the rest.
