Aw, I LOVED going to that Fry's. For the CD's, the DVD's and, yeah, even for a bottle of cologne once in a blue moon. That crashed spaceship was fire. Thanks for the memories, Captain Meat. <3
Everyone in my theater clapped when we saw the Fry’s, it was a staple location in our area. Sad it’s gone now. Remember getting my first DS Lite at that store. I also recognized the diner/restaurant they went to later in the movie. Made me giddy to see local spots in a movie.
I miss Fry’s so much. It was one of the first stores i visited when I moved to La several years ago. 💔
I remember going in months before it shut down and seeing empty shelves everywhere. Even the cafe had limited food. At least the car theater was still running. So sad to see it go
I do like these “cut for time” clips as shorts, this is great 👍
Does that mean they were counted in the Star Lasso Experience kill?
I used to go to the Fry’s in Fremont, California. There wasn’t another electronic store quite like it anywhere. It really is a shame that it became a pandemic casualty.
I remember here in Indianapolis we had a fry’s on the east side. Loved going to that with my dad. It shut down what feels like a decade ago. But it’s all good now because we got a microcenter last year in the same area.
Never been to Fry’s but they will always hold memories for those who remember the early episodes of Bored Smashing Grocery Store Phones
I lived next to the Sacramento and near the Roseville Fry's and used to love going there. They were both the same railroad theme but they were awesome. If only I knew there were other more awesome themed ones then I would've made it my life's mission to go.
I miss fries. I used to go all the time even before Nope came out. Also Nope is now one of my top favorite movies of all time.
They had some stores in Chicago area. That was the first time I was introduced to them. My wife grew up in Chicago so she loved them. So while I lived there for 4 years before we married/moved, we used go go all the time. Crazy that was 11+ years ago. But none of them were as cool as this Burbank store!
My dad’s an engineer and does a lot of DIY stuff, so I remember going with him to that Fry’s ALL the time when I was younger
I can't wait for this. I may be the only person who thinks Nope is Peele's best and most engrossing, layered film.
R.I.P. Fry's :( Loved those stores, long live the greatest electronics chain ever!
Honestly, that’s so wholesome 🥹🥹🥹🥹
I love this little snippet! Hopefully, we can see more of these deleted scenes from kill counts!
Gotta love horror production, the crews are always wonderful (most of the time) (at least interesting!)
Used to go to one in Phoenix! They had everything
