Humanity: ‘We need clean energy.’
Also humanity: ‘Let’s vaporize a planet real quick.

@Therapistwatermirrur

The amount of materials and engineering required for a Dyson sphere draws into question do we even have enough resource material for the tech and for the construction or maintenance of such a thing? Probably not in our lifetime or even in this century.

@jeanpaulsinatra

Secure our energy future by turning the sun into a biblically accurate angel

@robertdufault3810

I think having a 24 hour sun would drive many people crazy no matter how we try to block it privately.

@NOOBHAMMER3000

"Would aliens be edible?"

"Why it would be a good idea to yeet Mercury!"

Dammit Youtube, why you gotta be like this?

@Schoolforthesoul

We need to make a Dyson sphere with a giant hamster running in the middle of it!

@stancil83

Logistically, a base on another planet seems like the next step after a Moon base, but technologically, it's a leap into the unknown, where sending people out likely means a one-way trip. Philosophically, it’s wrapped in the romance of exploration, a seductive narrative that masks just how final that journey might be.

@winstonsmith478

Before the Dyson Sphere point, it's nuclear.

@everton-off-road

Please don't count on my city's government to build this.
They take months just to patch a simple hole on the street, imagine building a Dyson Sphere hahahah

@davids9027

Once we start sending energy from the Sun to Earth, our planet will get a lot warmer. Energy eventually converts to heat. We'd need one heck of a radiator.

@thes2kguy

Nuclear all the way. The sun is our inspiration

@oospacedogoo2261

some studies have said that making a dyson sphere would freeze the planet but what if we just built like half of it on the opposite side of the sun from the planet and had it orbit around the sun at the same speed as the earth?

@MiddTrip

Incredible narration, I like the "what is sci-fi to us, our children may take for granted"

@parkerhammond2346

We should just build massive solar panels at Earth’s stable lagrange points or mirrors/lenses to direct the suns light at the moon to be collected

@airlobb

Nuclear energy and we are good

@innerstrengthcheck

I just got finished watching one of your other vids, hopped into bed and there's a new sleep vid! Thanks x2 Astrum 😊

@justfellover

I wonder how the sun's processes would be affected if Mercury were no longer there to stir the soup.

@Subvertebrate

Ah, the Dyson ball, to hoover all the energy.

@oldbag3043

We are stood on a natural electricity producing generator that produces massive amounts of power and yet no one knows how to harness it, I can't believe that and if it's so it needs sorting
