I love this. I'm almost 72 years old so my difficulty is using the technology. I've done day one 3 days in a row. How do I move on to day 2..3..4..etc.?
Hi Jules, It was great, but could you make it a 15-minute workout. Thank you. π
Dear Jules, after my last message I ordered some 2kg weights but started today with 1.5kg (3.3bs). I am going to send you feedback after each day's workout so I can remain consistent π ! I started my day with a dog walk as a warm up and then this Day 1. I'm not sure if my back is straight doing the exercises but I'll go find a mirror and replicate them to see if I'm working it correctly. Thank you for starting with the easier floor plank π. I'm invested in this challenge as there's a lot of gardening to be done which means lifting heavy bags of mulch and soil and I can't keep asking my husband to do it. So..... You said that after 25 days I would notice a good difference; if I am stronger then I will be extremely happy. Thank you for your kind approach and talking all ages and experience into consideration, Sara π.
Please use whatever weight you feel comfortable using when you are first starting out. Start light and over the next few weeks you will see change and can likely move up in the weight you are lifting. We all have to start somewhere and using a light weight in the beginning is best for safety. Learn the form first and then we'll focus on increasing the amount of weight.
HelloJules !!! Thank you so much for today's strength training. I will definitely continue with you β€
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and workouts. I just started today and I can feel it already! See you tomorrow! π
Thank you so much. Iβve started today. Hope to continue them. I have a suggestion. If you could kindly put down all the exercises with reps and sets down in the description, it would help to keep a log so I can build on post the one month. Thank you once again.
I just turned 50 and my doctor recommended I do some strength training and I needed something simple for beginners to be safe and you delivered! Iβm excited to do this 25 day program. Itβs easy to follow and adjust as needed and the pace is slow to be sure I do the right form. Thank you! -Tracey R, western MA
To be honest if you could turn the music down it would be nice. Your calmness and teaching skills is very inviting. I appreciate how tou verbally say and do. The music causes me to mot hear you as well.π’
It's May 12 2025 - Day 1 for me. Thank you for posting this series. <3
Hello Jules, i know you filmed this 2 years ago but I'm starting now at the age of 67π . May i ask 2 questions: 1. My hand weights are only 1.5 kilos, should I be buying a set so I can use heavier weights later? 2. What would you recommend as a warm up for these exercises? Thank you so much, Sara from Austria (but I'm Irish!) πππ
So..a month on holiday and I walked a lot but didnβt do much of anything else. Starting this all over again. The good news is that I am starting out stronger than 2 months ago. I wonβt be pestering you every day. I know the trajectory and am excited to be doing it all again! π
Have done this 2 days in a row so far. Am 75 / do the wall planks because Iβm so weak strength wise. From neglect not illness. Thank you so much - itβs just the right amount of time to trick myself into doing it. Know what I mean? β€
Did this series quite some time ago, but decided to do it again. I've really slacked on any type of workout, and I'm getting into more and more pain and weakness. I'm only 58, and I shouldn't feel this way. I've got some friends doing it with me too π
I am 60 years old and very happy. I discovered your channel. Having being an avid YouTube exerciser doing many different types of programs over the years. I recently injured my hamstring and canβt do such overwhelming and intense workouts anymore. I find that this one is perfect for me to rehabilitate myself and get back into exercise very enjoyable thank you.π
This was fun and encouraging, thank you! Does it matter if I do my cardio before vs after?
After several set-backs, I am here again to hopefully make it through all 25 days; 11 was the last I could do before. Most of my hip surgery recovery is done but I have a knee giving me fits. Hopeful!!
All my life my exercise has just been walking, hiking, biking, and swimming. I know the importance of strength training but I have no idea how to go about it. Now I've found you, in my mid 50s. As a true beginner, I am able to do this! Thank you so much, I am committed to doing this 25-day program. It's a relief to finally have found an informative video from a qualified professional!
Finally started this, thanks. Been busy dealing with DSS. Trying again to get SSI again, please pray I can be approved for it. I have been doing some of your stretching videos.
