In 1978, I was nearly killed by a huge green anaconda, 7 miles west of Mathew's ridge, Guyana. They are much faster than a lot of people might think. I was aged ten. It struck so close from a river I felt it disturb the air.

Based on it skull anatomy, we know Titanoboa mostly ate Fish, which is how it got so large in the first place. And it likely acted more like a giant version of the water snakes native to North America. It wasn't adapted to take large land prey.
