I already knew what Peterson was going to say. Instead of listening, Sam looking like Piers Morgan in the morning just proceeded to attack him, trying to make himself look superior in some unknown realm. Peterson was going to say that people who blindly follow religion just to fit into a community are, to some degree, ignorant. That’s common sense—there's no reason to attack that statement.

It's the opiate of the masses for a reason. But I wouldn't characterize it as "It's good for stupid people" instead, "it's good for people who don't look inward for spirituality themselves" so they take someone else's word for it (religion)

I would disagree, even a stupid person will make better decisions with reality and natural instincts vs not having the faculties to decipher nonsensical religious dogma. So a stupid person + religion is a terrifying thought.

Well the problem is.. no historians that's alive during the life of Jesus has any records of Jesus.. the closest one is still 20-30 years after Jesus's suppose death.. faith is to believe without questioning..
