100% Had this happen with one of my old friends from my StarCraft days. We both started playing league roughly the same time and we both sucked. He was bronze 2 and I was bronze 1. Fast forward 3 years I was plat 1 and he was silver 4. Dude was toxic af in all his games, not just the ones we played together. I just didn’t type and kept watching my replays and tried to keep getting better. I peaked diamond 3 59 LP and have been plat 1-D4 ever since that point(stopped playing ranked seriously before emerald came out so idk where I’m at now)

I agree this is huge, but it also pales in comparison to actually learning how the game works and how to win. League changes and you gotta be on top of it. No matter how tough a mind you have you aint winning shit if you aren’t practiced up on your farming and decision making.
