I like the three words idea for interiors!  Knew about it for fashion but it totally applies to interiors too.  Iā€™m gonna say my three words are cozy, playful, luxurious.

I love the tip about childhood home inspiration. I brought a few antique pieces from my childhood home and they made such a difference in my home. I got this feeling of them as being my guardians/protectors or in other words, a feeling of safety. And of course, much more character and warmth than anything store bought could ever bring.

All very sound advice. I think a lot of ppl myself including get confused about what we think like vs. what we actually want to live with. I noticed I can see an image and think its gorgeous. Decide that's my style only to discover I don't like it in my space but I just like it in the image.

I think if you added a couple of other things, like a plant and candles/candle sticks, around the head, it wouldn't look to jarring.

Im sorry but that head statue is really freaky and I cant even focus on what you are saying. If you dont like it you should not have to keep it in your space.
