For established Amazon sellers maybe they can navigate all the new changes, but for a brand new seller, it is tough especially since Amazon is asking for 100 units to get ungated in so many categories and brands. I decided to pause selling on Amazon. Instead, I started specializing in a niche and started selling on a different platform. It is working out much better for me now. As I grow my online business I may decide to try Amazon again in the future, I don't know. (but probably not.) However, i think that the best way to go as a new online seller, is to find a niche, became really good at that niche. Learn everything you can about your niche product, get really good sourcing it and selling it. Trying to source and sell anything and everything on Amazon is exhausting. When you find a niche that works for you, you can streamline your processes - I think that's the way to go.

So I’ve been keeping track of items I have been regated in. Since beginning of 2024 I have been regated in over 120 brands, I was primarily a RA seller. I do think this is a sales velocity issue. I know a 1 million dollar RA seller and she has only been regated 2 brands that she rarely sold and didn’t have any stock of. Most of my brands are in the beauty and health/personal care categories. I’m also seeing post in FB groups I’m in that people are submitting invoices to ungate and getting instantly denied, probably AI bots…

Do you have a Walmart course? I’d love to learn more while trying to grow my Amazon. I sold on Amazon almost 2 years ago.. had to stop and now I’m starting again.. 😅 so much is gated.. I heard someone say still apply with 10… but I don’t know if that will work when they are asking for 100. 😅
