@to4ou

THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO HIDE THE FACT THAT ITS A DISS TRACK. THIS ATE SO HARD

@felixzjecikurczaka

"Unlike your group, we're immortal" OH. MY. GOD.

@klaudiaszemeredi7295

no cuz han saying that they've cleaned up the song so much makes me wanna hear the original version even more

@АнтонинаПопова-п2ц

"this is barely chapter 2 of our play" makes me wanna scream and cry

@zuzannabrzeszczak1578

I really hope they'll relase the original version sometime in the future, cause apparently the lyrics were even stronger and more savage. It's still a dope ass diss track though. Chan's "bring it back, come on" was so hot. He didn't even sound like himself, it was like someone else has taken over his body.

@qkanerd

Han obliterating everyone in this "toned down" version. 😆 Can't wait to hear his demo one day.

@vickif.8887

I’m DYING over these lyrics. The confidence is so incredibly hot. I love a good flex song!!!

@HanJisung0143

Thank you Han for creating this masterpiece

@nobodyblahblah8818

Han is so good at dissing we shouldn't be surprised but DAMN

@v3rrs3s

This song is so clever omg.

1. The “I dont give a 쉿“, trying to say shit at 0:33, but still staying within JYPS rules. (They also do this in Lalalala)

2. There are many mistranslations in this video though.

2a. At 0:40, when the translations say, “Go ahead and go all black,” is the first mistake. In Korean, “시꺼” could be used to create the word pitch black, however, it is also used as slang for the phrase “시끄럽다” which means “too noisy” and “시끄러워” which means to “shut up”. The line is more aggressive in tone, and better translates to “We pass everyone (stay ahead), y'all shut up”.

2b. At 0:42, when the translations say, “In the calm river, get out of the way, pyramids, uh,” thats the second mistake. While the word “피래미들” can be translated to the English word pyramid in a Korean dialect, it actually refers to a small fish. This is often used in Korean metaphors to describe something small and insignificant. The more accurate translation would be “You small fish in the river, get out of the way, uh”.

2c. At 1:28, when the translations say, “I like this, we stick together, we're all messed up
Unlike your group, we're immortal,” this is the third mistake. In this case, Stray Kids are not referring to themselves as messed up, but rather the other unnamed subject. Additionally, “비리비리한” does not mean messed up, but is specifically used to call someone a weak or powerless person.

The more accurate translation would be “This suits me better, we stick together. We aren’t like your pathetic group, we’re immortal.”

2d. At 2:12, when the translations say, “Negativity, step aside” its not a mistranslation persay, but it doesn’t correctly portray the feeling. In Korean, “애써 부정은 비켜” is used more harshly than to step aside, but translates more accurately to “if you’re gonna be negative (or if you’re gonna try to speak against what I’m saying), you can piss off”.

2e. At 1:48 (148 I love Seungmin?) , when it says “keeping it peaceful”, this is the same as the one above, not a direct mistranslation but it doesn’t portray it correctly. In Korean" “타고 peace 하지” can be translated as “being at peace” or “keeping the peace”, it is more used as a phrase like “peace out”, or informal way to mark your departure from a conversation.

2f. At 1:18, when it says “Why are you barking all day?” Its not directly a mistranslation either, just isn’t all that accurate. The Korean used in this line, “왠종일 짖는 수두룩한 악재” does not specify an individual or group, but speaks more generally to setbacks – whether they be people speaking against Stray Kids, general hurdles in their career, or negative unforeseen circumstances. It would be more accurate to say “All the barking setbacks can step aside” as the members will continue to bounce back from any potential setback.

3. I also really like Hyunjin’s line at 0:54, basically telling the haters to go take a shower. (He’s right, skz antis STINK)

I think thats all of them, but if I missed any, please let me know. :)

I think this is my favorite song off the whole album, the lyrics are so aggressive, and they really do “bounce back” every time, no matter the amount of haters. Haters been real quiet since this dropped 🙂‍↕️✋🏼

@Skz4thgenleadS
