@Neil3D

It's likely that the MSI board I'm using is very much on the more aggressive side of voltage and power delivery, hence the power draw with the power limits removed. This was of course all done with everything at factory spec/defaults and no manual or auto overclocking or power increases applied, and no third party software installed.

@NorthernEwan

Where have you been all my life? Needed a CAD centric review for decades! Thank you.

@grizzleebair

First time I was recommended one of your videos and an instant subscribe in the first minute! I love channels that mix in humour with their tech content! Also, refreshing to see someone closer to my age than my sons age hosting a channel. Great video! I use my PC for both work and play, so I am interested in videos like this too.

@nanoprehistoric

Thank you as always! Especially when you consider the idle power consumption. The clockspeed is amazing, 5.8 GHz on single core but the max power draw is INSANE.

@fredygump5578

Uh oh, looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade! I set aside my weekends for CNC machining...but then end up spending the entire weekend struggling with slow CAM simulations...using an i9-11900kf right now.

@TheBlankmediams

great vid as always

@Reyas

Great video mate. How applicable is your InvMark results to other AutoDesk products such as Civil3D?

@makkisalah4517

Thank you very much

@SermedAlWasiti

Good one, mate.. thanks for the info

@abaj006

With power consumption, you should also factor in the additional Air-conditioning costs of cooling your room.

@alexmilioris

Yeah, obviously it'll be cheaper to go for a 13th gen intel system now especially when you can use your 12th gen moba however you need to keep in mind that if you go for a ryzen 7000 system you'll future proof motherboard and ram until 2025. That could mean the same moba and RAM for 2 generations from AMD to come.

@tamas470

Great review! One thing I am wondering about is how much difference the 240 AIO would make with the 13900k on InvMark? Especially besides for rendering, since most everything else is lightly threaded in Inventor.

@patharty7507

Reviews and news about the best and latest hardware is fine, there's precious little for those of us who aren't wealthy or in need of top of the line stuff.

Is there a good video about graphics cards and other components that mere mortals can afford?

@harrypalmer1

Thanks for the review. I use the lesser known Archicad, which is a 3D cad modeler like Revit. Do these chips negate the need for a GPU? Thanks

@REMISCStv

Great review, appreciate the work 👍

@khj5582

Why did you use liquid cooling? I assume in a work environment a fan would be more standard, for reliability.

@glickmpb

I am building an autocad PC with this Intel Core i9-13900F. Is this a good choice??

@bikerchrisukk

I'm Chris and I'd already subscribed! 😆 Seriously though, helpful video thank you, would have been interesting to see power draw on single threaded work, just because that's what I mainly do (CAD, etc.) and I pay the lecky! 👍

@go-gopizzo

Hi, to build an 3d animation/ rendering you recommend going with the i9 13900k or threadripper 5965? With rtx4090

@NH_RSA__

Thank you for not considering bloody gaming.

How well are these suited for SPICE?
