Just played the demo today, I think I´ll buy the game. Just for doing the 5 lap race, and repeating it until I was good at it I felt rewarded in a way I was never in other racing game. So cool.

you guys are so fortunate to have those controller setups, an xbox controller is driving me crazy i cant pitch the steering wheel all that well with the joy stick

For a die hard F1 fan like me this game is pretty good. I know it is not 100% hard core sim, but as you put it, it helps you experience a true F1 weekend or season. I know most of the tracks pretty well and I tell you that the breaking points and overall physics are pretty good. Also yes, there are some teams without KERS which is why this is reflected in the game. Some sim racers should do a track day to really understand how it feels, speed, g-forces, etc. Just as a recommendation...

yes people mod it all the time, damage mods, more aggressive ai, and so on. As for trackir, it is compatible

it took me 11 races and 10 of those were first places in order to get a new contract on the easy mode

you have to remember just like real life theres only about 3 to 4 companys that can win races and generally only 2-3 that can do it consistently. That's the way it is. But then most racing genres are like that to. Like the Citreon in WRC, it destroys the competition until the others catch up. All racing disciplines suffer from this.

Great vid. Darin, thanks 4 the heads-up about the G25. I got F1 2012 2 weeks ago and have a G25 on it's way. U saved me some stress, fo sho. Darin, you nailed it. This game has prompted me to buy an rSeat GTR, a G27 and a bigger screen. I feel sure I'll also get a butt-kicker. Hell, I may even get some of those booties like Shawn's. Y'all do an extraordinary job. I have decided you 2 are the go to guys for my education in this arena. Thanks again for a GREAT video.
