Aperture Science

@PpedArt

Why do mobile phones have an aperture of f1.8, while Canon cameras also have an aperture of f1.8. The same number, but the aperture of the Canon is of course much larger? What made them have the same number? On what basis is it measured and set as a number such as f1.8 or f1.5?

@RandomG1234

Can someone tell me what is a good aperture camera?

@vff0491

My camera doesn't have that
