@ThatKidAkil

Engineered arts is truly something else, they are literally crafting the gateway to the future. I love this company and would love to own an Ameca for myself one day

@BlueJay56

2:04 *looks at Ameca's chest*
*Ameca catches him*

@frankydog7656

She is spectacular. Obviously, still have a ways to go, but it's definitely getting further along. Exciting stuff!

@synthoelectro

This line of thinking has been around since the 70's and early 80's mankind has been longing for this for a very long time. It doesn't seem to be so strange anymore.

@archie34734

Ameca is the most life-like humanoid robot out there. Can't wait to see her exterior improve.

@NABZ028

I created an amazon skill to discuss with gpt3 with my amazon echo but talking to gpt3 with Ameca is much better :)

@whatsitaboutwithphilcraig6661

Once again absolutely fantastic well done team for making science fiction into science fact 🤖We are nearly at the singularity point with your your skills ,love and commitment we will soon have a artificial humanoid with the abilities to thank you in person in our life time.

@GoodnightMoon666

There's no continuity between the mouth and the face. It's doing all of these unnatural movements even whithin the limitations currently in place. I like the last video where it replicated the face of a human in real time, perhaps you could first send the GPT-3 responses through a virtual generated avatar where it could then read the face from that while also getting a good voice-to-text as well and then transpose those facial movements to the robot. Also get a separate process going that uses a camera (in the eyes ideally) that looks for faces and maintains focus on the person in front of them.

@MasterX2024

0:19 I can literally tell that it’s ChatGPT’s wording in her voice

@SarahPerine

I love the facial expressions!! I think o would like a robot but then I think I would want two robots so it wasn’t alone. But that is silly, isn’t it?!

@sethobrien8523

Hmmm I can think of some useful applications for these kinds of robots...😉😉

@lfenney5028

Reminds me of crazy people in movies marvaling over there own creations which eventually destroy them. The dudes remind me of David in prometheus before he looses his head.

@AnnaLutw

This is amazing, it looks so real

@Nova-Rift

Oh my god. This amazing!

@gbt722

Keeps that big right haymaker real close to you at all times. Concerning lol.

@Fantasvale

Remember Asimov you guys! Don’t stop technology but let’s make CLEAR RULES.

@ZZ-dr2wj

Love Ameca, looks like good friend

@RadReelingFishing

Who is behind the curtain helping the robot to answer? Remember the Wizard of Oz?

@enmodo

Decades ago I played with a BASIC program called Eliza I typed into my home computer. But there was a typo when I entered it and when the crude software didn't understand the input it would ask "What is it about machines that worries you?" which I thought was ironic. At the end of this video we see a few examples where this "AI" which is light years ahead of the few hundred lines of BASIC code powering Eliza fails just as hard. It's like when you see A.I. generated faces and the ears are messed up or glasses don't have complete frames. We've come a long way but have so much further to go.

@pareidoliamadness

We have a long way to go. But great job all together.
