This is gonna sound weird but I think I made the iOS 6 app store shutdown. I was heavily using it on my iPhone 4S, trying to find compatible apps for it when it suddenly stopped loading anything. I restarted the app and it said it couldn't access the iTunes store. One of the apple employees must've realized and blocked access from iOS 6. Sorry guys 😅

30-Pin** I actually have an iPhone 5 in pretty bad condition: display is cooked (cracked+black spot+a line after a drop) but everything else works. I actually used it in 2023 and for some time in 2024, while it was on iOS 8, jailbroked and coolbooted to iOS 6, on which i used it since iOS 8 was buggy 😅. I love old iPhones.

That particular one was from 2013 and it shipped with iOS 7 because of the iOS on the box so it could not have had iOS 6 on it unless if you’d jailbroken it and downgraded it. Also why does the box say ©️ 2022 if the iPhone 4S was already discontinued till then. I think this is a sign that is either fake or refurbished or is a replica.
