Actually latency compensation is to adjust playback to the latency of the plugins used. It ‘adds’ latency to any tracks that don’t have (as much) plugins, to align them with the tracks that ‘do’ have many plugins. If there’s not many plugins in use, this will do very little. If there are many plugins in use, this will ‘add’ latency. In short: latency compensation is ‘not’ a low-latency mode. For lowest latency turn it ‘off’, and turn off any plugins that aren’t absolutely necessary.
I unchecked automatic and it worked
Very helpful. What do you do to fix midi controller latency?

What if you don’t have a audio interface and you only use a usb mic?
I have an issue if you can please help. When I look for an input it’s not showing me my input device it’s only showing left and right or both options.

I have noise when connect mic to recording, that noise not from rooms or external noise. It's from fixed hiss noise this around 5k to 6k
