The best thing about the Dream No More ending is that our character can finally rest in the void

@IndoHelleneBall

sealed siblings is the true ending cuz hornet can never get out to give us silksong

@megatonijn4296

Everyone gangster until the delicate flower and mister mushroom walk in

@Callster

The “Embrace the Void” Ending is where you kill the Radiance in a dream of the radiance. To clarify any dream is going to have the radiance in it. That’s why they’re all derivative of moths. Like the radiance. So when the Godmaster dreamt of the Radiance it became stronger due to the immense power of the Godmaster. When you kill the Absolute Radiance, you become part of the mass void and banish/obliterate it. At the end since the Hollow Knight is no longer infected he leaves the Black Egg confused where he is. That’s why he stands in that stance at the end. If I got anything wrong, please let me know.

@dyslexyckid6396

Hornet in the Embrace the Void ending is basically
Hornet : WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?
Hollow Knight : WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?

@56ty_

Dream No More.
Even the name is perfect.
It’s so poetic. After years of unrest and countless tragedies the lands of hallownest can finally rest in peace.

@VGamingJunkieVT

Dream No More is definitely the most satisfying, from a narrative perspective. All of the siblings unite together to take out the Radiance and the Hollow Knight itself exacts vengeance for all the pain it went through by tearing the Radiance's face open while our Knight beats the living shit out of her.

What more could you ask for? Sure, the Godhome ending seems to leave the Hollow Knight alive, but maybe it deserves eternal slumber after all the pain it went through. All of the siblings deserve to rest. And Hornet's still around to carry on their memory.

@NoobyMain

Sealed Siblings -
Radiance contained but not killed
The Hollow Knight dies
Hornet is unconcious and is put to deep sleep
The Black Egg is impossible to open as Hornet, the dreamer, is inside it

The Hollow Knight -
Radiance is contained, but not killed
The Hollow Knight dies
Hornet is not present at the fight
The infection may occur again if the Knight will feel emotions

Dream No More -
Radiance is Killed
The Hollow Knight and the Knight rest
Hornet is alive and was present at the scene

Embrace the void -
Radiance is killed
The Hollow Knight is free and pure
Hornet is alive
The Knight has turned into the Shade Lord and can cause chaos

The Delicate Flower ending -
Radiance is Killed
The Hollow Knight is free and pure
Hornet is Alive
The Shade Lord is Killed

@Zeight-Gl

The other variant of embrace the void was prolly the happiest ending

@EspartaGREM

What means each ending.
Siblings ending: it's the basic ending but with hornet inside, it's a "what if you just don't make your job".
Basic ending: you, the new hollow knight, following the path of your predecesor (and i would say you will also fail).
"True ending": you get the king's mark, search for the king's soul and transform it into Shade soul. You now know your origin and get the power to find and fight Radiance, your brothers come to help you, but in the end, both of you die.
Pantheon Bad ending: through the Godseeker's technology (the resonator that let them find "Gods") you start to "unlock" memories, the memories of Shade soul, the memories of the Abyss. After staying at godhome a lot of time (beating other "Gods", the pantheons) you start to losing yourself until you reach Absolute Radiance, where you are not the little bug anymore, you are not the hollow knight, now you are THE ABYSS GOD. As the abyss god, you devour a defeated Absolute Radiance, Godseeker and... now you start to devour Hallownest the same or worse way than Radiance, killing everything on your path.
Pantheon good ending: it follows the same path, but in this ending you achieve to give the delicate flower to Godseeker. This flower from a foreign place, when in contact with abyss/dark energy (or when the user dies), reacts and make something. Maybe it teleports you somewhere, maybe outright destroy abyss/dark energy, we will never know BUT what we do know is that the little knight saved everyone in hallownest.

Some details are obvious with the last DLC:
What the pale king wanted, a hollow knight, have never nor will ever exist, but our little knight achieved to defeat Radiance and the abyss god, freeing Hallownest from Godhood, no more gods to pray (well maybe Unn, such a chill slug, a true homie).

@V1legend868

Embrace the void is the most perfect one why cause the knight unleashes his full potential the radiance is fully dead and plus hornet isn't an orphan anymore since you don't need to kill her mother

@theauditor3224

Embrace the void can be considered the true ending. The hollow knight survives and we unify the void and ALL of out siblings the pale king murdered. at the same time we can seemingly put an end to the void with the delicate flower

@AlcheonArt

the best one for me is the other Embrace the void variant where you give the Godseeker a Pale Flower, then you proceed to escape as the the Lord of Shades but the Flower stops the godseeker making it implode and stopping your (the player knight) darkness from spreading to Hollownest

@NinjaLobsterStudios

I've never gotten any of the Godmaster endings but the thing I like about them is they leave the Hollow Knight alive. They have a very tragic story and I feel like after all the torment the Hollow Knight deserves a chance to experience the world they were denied, and build a connection with their half-sister

@ChumaTeratomovna

Honestly, I'm more in love with embrace the void without delicate flower.

The reason - it gives the story new breath. It's ends old story and starts new, extremely interesting, with Hornet, Hollow knight alive and most importantly Shadow Lord, whose goles are unknown. In this ending the knight surely have a will and a mind, since even going pantheons - is a decision unnecessary for it's purpose.

Some say void will ruin everything. But this don't make sense, since SL controls it. And we know there was civilization, embraced the void and had own kingdom.

So, conculding, embracing the void - the best due to the new story it gives.

@peanutbudderation

The lore to embrace the void is that the Knight was the shade lord and when he beats the radiance in God home, because it shows the ascended version of all the bosses it made the shade lord ascended to, and the shad lord is the strongest god and when he breaks out of the dream he destroys hollownest (the last part is assumed)

@dylanpyle6500

Embrace the void actually kills the radiance and brings out the potential of the knight,were dream no more looks like more of sealing or digestion

@ars-br1ms

i like embrace the void the most because it's the most unique one and instead of doing the usual routine of opening the seal and fighting thk, you say "ykw? fuk it we ball" and skip the whole process entirely by fighting the radiance in her dreams

in other words this is the only ending where the dreamers, quirrel and thk don't die. even though you have to kill like 40 bosses but all of them are either already dead or just infected to the point of no return. it looks like hornet and thk are in fighting stances and thk already lost an arm and its shell is severely broken, but i still like to imagine that this is the ending where thk manages to live without suffering and not become enemies with its half-sister

plus it has the most lore potential, not only is it a cliffhanger with hornet and thk, but it's also the only ending where the lord of shades appears. in all other endings the void either doesn't do anything or calms down after the vessels defeat the radiance. but the lord of shades is basically described as "the god of gods" and it would be very interesting to explore in either silksong or another hollow knight dlc that could be made after team cherry are done with silksong (or just a silksong dlc, you can never know)

i understand that dream no more is THE ENDING, while embrace the void is a cliffhanger, and cliffhangers can't be considered actual endings. but that's why i also think it's the most interesting one if team cherry makes a proper continuation
(unless they make it so the dreamers still die when there's no seal, thus making quirrel's monomon mask lose its power and make him feel old again, and thk will die from its wounds or/and because hornet didn't recognize that it's not infected anymore... then i'll cry)

@sparchamp2

I feel like the best ending is embrace the void, because it feels satisfying, both for you, and the game itself since it completely rids the infection + it’s super satisfying when you get that finally beat up with shade lord vs absrad (my favorite part, I’ve been struggling with absrad for almost a year and it made me quit the game for 6 months, now I finally beat P5 and I almost cried of happiness) so yeah. It’s just super satisfying when you get that ending. It’s basically dark souls bosses except absrad is even harder. Both are super satisfying when they die
