Interesting fact is, that all subtitles but the last one are unchanged from the original lyrics. This was the ending theme of a Japanese comedy show "Dorifu Daibakusho" which featured a band/comedy group called "Drifters". The ending theme had been changed slightly over decades, and this video especially is from the 1981 version.

Wait a minute, is this the actual translation? I thought it was definitely fake, but then I noticed the sentence with "It's hard to say goodbye" actually had "sayounara" in it. Then "It can't be helped" was "shikata ga nai" which is the actual translation of that. I'm too tired to try to figure this out. Someone do this for me!
