I’m not an expert, but normally you can just use a command like git bisect to find a bug/backdoor like this. So assuming they use git, have a competent employee, and figure out a way to test for the presence of the backdoor it really isn’t an issue. Again, I’m happy to admit that I not an expert, I could be wrong and there’s no need to be upset if I am.
“And then everyone clapped” ahh story
I love stories when the boss actually realizes hes doing bs and then betters himself
I'm going to take things that have never happened for 1000 Alex
I know its fake, but dear god I needed a good story. Thanks.
Hard to believe. No financial institution would hire some startup to do the software for them without proper testing and code reviews.
Bro committed fraud .. nah.
And then everyone clapped, and the mayor of devtown gave him a key to the internet
Things that never happened
Next scroll is the exact same question for me what the heck
This is beautiful Story about Dave grow up😅
NUH UH SHOULDVE REPORTED HIM ANYWAY
Of course it’s corrupt when it starts with the city of Cleveland
I swear I just scrolled and saw the same story
😂 Leaving Backdoor is a good way to get blacklisted.
Clevland like family guy
Wtf ? Every sane person would have first negotiated for themselves to get what they are owed. After that you leak what really went down to the client your former employer ripped off or you go straight to the authorities
Email? Why not check an api or a url or something like that? In an email you have to keep sending it to keep the site up every 24 hours. If you check a url, all you have to do is, when you want to cut off, just take tat url offline. This is just slopy craftsmanship. And an AI story, because if you are implementing a backdoor that you have to constantly maintain, then you aren't human.
Too many details = ai story
