I actually disagree with the sunk cost and commitment escalation bit: while it’s true that the more you push through the higher the cost one needs to burden. But for almost successful person has the most desperate moment where at anytime they could gave up. The reason why they financially succeed is because the definition of failure is different from yours. Therefore they push through not because they have put in too much, it’s because their vision is too strong they see failure as the path to success
